Rubber Base vs Gel Polish Base
Gel Polish Base Coat:
Your go to for strong, healthy natural nails that don't require additional reinforcement. Apply a thin, even layer and cure before moving onto colour.
Rubber Base:
Your go to for thin, soft, flexible, weak or prone to breaking natural nails that need additional support. Its flexible formula provides more reinforcement while allowing the product to move with the natural nail.
The simple rule:
Strong nail? → Gel Polish Base.
Needs support? → Rubber Base.
How to use
Step 1: Dehydrate
Apply Redemption Haus Dehydrator directly to the clean, bare natural nail plate. Allow to dry.
Step 2: Balance
Apply Redemption Haus pH Bonder and allow to dry.
Step 3: Prime
Apply a thin layer of Redemption Haus Primer and allow to air dry.
Step 4: First Layer
Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base over the natural nail, keeping the product away from the surrounding skin. Cure for 30 - 60 seconds in a compatible LED lamp.
Step 5: Build & Level
If additional support is required, apply a controlled layer of Rubber Base to create your desired level of support and smooth the surface. Avoid excessive thickness, then cure for 30 - 60 seconds in a compatible LED lamp.
Step 6: Colour
Once cured, continue with your chosen Redemption Haus Gel Polish colour, curing each layer for 30 - 60 seconds, then finish with your choice of RH top coat and cure that layer for 30 - 60 seconds.
Pro tip:
Rubber Base isn't simply a thicker version of your regular base coat. Choose it because the natural nail needs flexibility & additional support. Don't overbuild it just because you can, the goal is a balanced, reinforced natural nail that still looks & feels natural.
